From these words and our appreciation of fine cigars and curated spirits, the SGI cigar lounge, commonly referred to as “The SKIFF” (derived from the military term “SCIF” which is a soundproof room used to store, discuss, and process highly classified intelligence) was created. Ingeniously designed within a repurposed cargo shipping container, the SGI cigar lounge offers a unique and inviting space to unwind at our corporate office in Riverside, CA.
Our innovative cigar lounge combines modern aesthetics with an industrial tone, creating an atmosphere that encourages relaxation and socialization, while serving as a daily reminder that we are on the front lines in the fight against cargo theft.
The exterior retains the original raw look of the shipping container, surrounded by an outdoor patio area and a covered awning. The interior of the lounge has been thoughtfully transformed into a unique retreat, featuring comfortable leather seating, ambient lighting, and custom cabinetry to showcase our personal selection of premium cigars.
Inside our cigar lounge, friends are greeted by a warm, welcoming environment, enhanced by decor that reflects both a nod to the transportation industry and a tribute to the law enforcement and military origins of our organization. High-quality ventilation ensures an enjoyable experience for everyone as they enjoy their favorite cigars.
