Don Ayala - SGI Director of Operations
Don Ayala is the Director of Operations at Solutions Group International, where he leads the Cargo Freight Security Escort Program. Since 2006, Don has contributed to the company’s diverse operations as a subject matter expert in dignitary protection and high-value cargo security. With more than 20 years of experience as a protective security contractor, he has safeguarded world leaders in complex environments across Afghanistan, Iraq, and Malaysia.
A proud U.S. Army veteran, Don served with distinction in the 12th Group Special Forces, the U.S. Army Rangers, and Special Operations Command (South). His military background continues to shape his leadership style and operational strategies.
In his current role, Don manages the day-to-day nationwide security operations for cargo transportation. He is responsible for cultivating strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of service and retention. Don also leads talent acquisition, develops training programs, and provides instruction to team members, all in pursuit of operational excellence.
